We're hiring! Rivage Landscaping LLC is looking for new, eager individuals to join our team. Since 2006, we've provided residential and commercial hardscaping and landscaping services throughout New York's Capital District. We're hiring for hardscape foremen, pesticide applicators/technicians, landscape maintenance laborers, landscape construction forepersons, seasonal snow removal workers, lawn mowing technicians, and landscape designers/project managers.

  • Hardscape Foreman

    • 3+ years of experience
    • On-site management of Hardscape projects (Construction, Renovation)
    • Ensures project is constructed in accordance with budget, schedule, design and specifications
    • Serves as company's on-site representative
    • Responsible for project day to day activities
    • Ample experience with construction equipment and safe job-site practices

    Requires: Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods). Motivation and training of staff. CDL not required but a plus

  • Pesticide Applicator/Technician

    • Experience in Category 3A fertilizing lawns and ornamentals
    • Clean NYSDL Required
    • Commercial Pesticide Applicator License is a Plus
    • Ability to keep accurate daily logs and DEC Reporting
    • Ability to apply pesticides according to product labels while using safe practices
  • Landscape Maintenance Laborer's

    • 2 Years' Experience in the green industry
    • Assist landscape construction foreman in all aspects of landscape installations and maintenance
    • Experience edging/prepping/mulching landscape beds
    • Experience planting trees/shrubs/perennials and have some common plant knowledge
    • Ability to trim/prune shrubs and trees
    • Be able to complete landscape installations off a blueprint and execute responsibilities in a timely manner
    • Keep equipment maintained with both preventative and post job maintenance
    • Represent the company in a professional manner and excel in all areas of landscape construction/maintenance
    • Skid steer/excavator and heavy equipment operation is not necessary, but experience is a plus
  • Landscape Construction Foreperson

    • 3+ years of experience
    • On-site management of landscape projects (Construction, Irrigation, Renovation)
    • Ensures project is constructed in accordance with budget, schedule, design and specifications
    • Serves as company's on-site representative
    • Responsible for project administrative items
    • Ample experience with construction equipment and safe job-site practices

    Requires: Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods). Motivation and training of staff. CDL not required but a plus

  • Seasonal Snow Removal Position

    • Equipment Operator
    • Snowplow Operator
    • Sidewalk Crew
  • Lawn Mowing Technicians

    • 2 Years' Experience in the green industry
    • Ability to operate zero turn mowing equipment, both stand on and sit down
    • Experience operating hand mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers
    • Demonstrate a wide range of professional mowing skills on both residential and commercial properties
    • Keep equipment maintained with both preventative and post job maintenance
    • Represent the company in a professional manner and excel in all areas of lawn maintenance
  • Landscape Designer/Project Manager

    • 5+ years of landscape/hardscape Design experience
    • Design landscapes, hardscapes for residential/commercial clients
    • Support the Sales team with Design Best Practices
    • Schedule and attend client meetings when required
    • Must have strong computer skills and experience with industry-based computer programs (i.e., Excel, Word, Dynascape)
    • Degree in Landscaping, Architecture, or Similar industry is desired
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills
    • Knowledge of plant material.
    • The ability to read Landscape Construction Drawings.
